Legacy Education Alliance - Don’t bite and waste your money

I have been a RE investor for decades. I have taken many classes in RE Investing.

Yesterday, October 25, 2019, in Portland,OR, my son and I attended day one of the three day class I bought for $695. Without exaggeration, the instructor, Lauri, “The most successful mentor” along with the other staff spent 2.5 hrs telling us about themselves! Who cares?? Give us CONTENT.

Then the constant push to buy mentoring for up to - wait for it - $55k!! Also Lauri repeated EVERYTHING at least four times. WAY TOO MUCH ANECDOTAL INFORMATION - repeated multiple times. The sparse content which was provided was good but not worth all the BS interjected into the class And certainly not worth $700.

Ultimately we left after a 90 min lunch when Lauri started into her Law of Attraction speech (I do believe in the Law of Attraction) but then she spent 45 minutes, with tons of anecdotal examples, on brain waves. That was it! We left. We lost $695.

That’s OK.

You win some, lose some in life. Just be aware that the three day is strictly a SALES PITCH without much RE content.

I attended that workshop over the weekend with the same mentor Lauri. All it was was a sales pitch to buy more classes!!!

And if she wasn't trying to sell she was telling us about how great she is. I didn't go back the next 2 days.

I was so excited to learn. Very disappointing legacy

Guest

First and foremost, I think it is really wonderful that you included your son when barking on this opportunity to learn deal estate. Thank you very much for taking the time to give your feedback.

I was scheduled to attend the worship this coming weekend. Based on your experience, I will skip it. I you you eventually find the right path!

Thanks again. I appreciate you

AVOID AVOID AVOID! Don't give them your money or you might regret!

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

3 days course is waste of life and money. Team was nice during 3 days though.

But their main goal is to convince you to buy advanced courses. I bought advance course in UK as I live in UK. But after coming back home, after day 3, I was a bit disappointed and I did more in depth research about company. I asked for refund.

I returned all materials that was unopened. They acknowledge refund period started (21 working days). After chasing them by emails and phone, and now into overdue of refund period, they told that my contract in UK was with old company Legacy Education Alliance International and not with Legacy Education Alliance International UK. They told that in UK they started to disintegrate 'International' company (both been registered under same address).

Before I was completely removed from all private groups I red that they moved students that bought in UK over to UK version of this company. But as I asked for refund legally I had to speak with 'International' company that was being in administration in UK. So no money, no courses. I involved Credit Cards companies that I paid for the course.

Also seeking legal advise. It is not ethical behaviour!

Absolutely appaling, have never seen such an incompetent company

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I attended a 2 hour free workshop in Sydney. The contents were great and the speaker was excellent.

I decided to sign up for the 3 days course costing $1250.

When I got home, I checked the reviews of this course online and was met with a barrage of 1 star reviews and disgusted customers.

I wrote an email to the address provided on the form requesting a refund whixh I'm entitled to during the 7 days cooling off period. Customer service responded overnight cc in a representative from Melbourne. It has now been 7 days and no responses back from this rep, numerous attempt has been made by me as well as their UK office.

I have called their UK office where the transaction was charged and they said there is nothing they can do.

They cannot even provide a phone number for this rep. This person is so important yet no one can get a hold of her

@LevelDuskyDolphin we are in Melbourne and have regrettably sunk a whole lot more money into Legacy than you and the other poster combined. We have just been asking for assistance, haven't even requested a refund and they have stopped communicating with us.

We have called the UK, contacted their reps here in Australia and they have all gone quiet. We are now months out from the cooling off period but they have not delivered the service they said they would … we are scared we have done our dough.

Hi Lavish I strongly recommend going further than contacting them. Such as your bank or even government bodies (fair trade, etc).

If it can be proven that the products offered is not as advertised.

You have a strong case. Good luck

I think that will be our next course of action. They claim you only get out what you put in, but we have been trying to put in as much time as possible and just wanted our questions answered (that's what teaching is isn't it?

students listen, ask questions … teachers teach and answer questions!) … it seems we have been thrown in the to hard basket.

We were supposed to have two one on one web calls … but they haven't even delivered something that simple … and like I said, they have shut up shop now and won't return emails, messenger messages or phone calls. Fair trades is certainly on the cards.

Hi LavishSraUrchin626, Report this matter to Consmer Affairs Victoria. I have raised transaction dispute with my credit card provider , complaint to ACCC and also to Fair trading NSW. Just got to wait for them to investigate.

Did you get your money back?

Hi Curly, despite raising the issue to their HQ in the UK and having their manager approve the refund via email. I still did not see any refund come back to my account. So I raised a dispute with my creditcard provider (through chargeback) and have received the amount straightaway

Hi LevelDuskyDolphin, I’m having the same problem , attended Sydney workshop last month and requested refund 3 days after I signed up. I was told that it could takes up to 21 working days for refund to process but til now I’m have yet to receive any refund from UK office and worst is they don’t response to me anymore.

They kept referring me to the same person who ignored my email , I have tried Sydney office contact but still referring me to the same person from UK.

Anyway , thank you for replying and I will try to get my money back through chargeback. Thanks again

Yes, please do not wait for them. Go through your credit card company.

Have the email dialogue handy if they need. Should get refunded straightaway from the creditcard company while they investigate.

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

Taken £997 of my hard earned money after I cancelled and the cancellation was approved, I was promised a refund within 21 days. This has not materialised, company in administration, new company called Asset Academy.

Rinse and repeat. This company is an absolute disgrace.

I have absolutely NOTHING to show for the £997. 1 star is far too good for these con men and women.

RUN AWAY AS FAST AS YOU CAN!

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

We signed up for the $45,000 Legacy Elite mentoring program. They have since closed their doors (in the UK, New Zealand, Hong Kong, South African and Singapore) - then failed to advise us! While we did not get to doing our mentorship, we have been unimpressed with the lack of service and poor quality of training material seen to date.

Our advice - RUN FROM THIS COMPANY AS FAST AS YOU CAN.

(Apparently their 'new' company in the UK is Asset Academy??).

Do not do it

Not worth the money you can find most if not all of this information from other sources for literally 1/10 of the price as i have actually done, i went through the course and their goal is to have you come back and do all the trainings because there is never a "full training" the salesmen at the 3 day events are masters, at least the one I had and suprise a few months later I come to find out that he is not with them any more, stay away seek out better sources. Also the people who give the trainings give you their email which if you try and contact will not get back to you take if from someone who went through the training and spend your hard earned money elsewhere, i am a big believer in mentorship and training and this is not the place to get it.

Scam workshop

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I went to the free 2 hour workshop. I bought the 3 day workshop for $500.

After i got home i read the reviews which said it is all a scam to get you to spend more money.

I wrote and email them right away to return my refund. Their refund policy is if you cancel you will get your refund in 15 days. Thats also the ontario consumer protectant act policy. Its being 20 days and i still didn't receive my refund.

They have not replied back to my email regarding my refund. The 3 day training course starts Sept 27, 2019 and i will be going there so they can give me back my refund and to let everyone know that this is just a scam to get customers money.

Watch outa

The 3 day real estate course really taught no techniques, and instead Lauri tried to drive fear and " you dont have a choice because your stuck" over and over. Prices for the packages are very steap, and for that price, you can start your own company and investments. I learned very little and wish I could have done more research prior to thr 3 day course however and thankful to not commit to the advanced course packages-

Horrible

Joined a Free webinar, for Foreclosures. When I asked in the chat box, when we were going to get to what we were all there for, mind you after 45 mins of an hour webinar, I was KICKED OFF THE WEBINAR.

I know its a free webinar and they are there to up sell you, I get it, but, as far as I'm concerned, if you're going to promote a webinar and tell everyone how "amazing its gonna be, blah blah blah," deliver on your promises. You expect me to pay for something when you cant even create value for a free webinar? The entire webinar was the same thing every single book about what "rich people do." Read Rich Dad or watch ANY free YOUTUBE video with Robert and you would get the exact same info that was delivered on this webinar. Absolutely ZERO content of what was promised.

Now you expect me to give you money so you can UNDER DELIVER????? I think NOT.

DON'T WAIST YOUR MONEY

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Legacy Education Alliance - DON'T WAIST YOUR MONEY

I am a student and a small business owner, I created a system in my business so it can be automated and I get to have the money and time to explore new streams of income, i came across an AD on Instagram with Robert's name and face on it, a 2 hour class for FREE about real estate, I couldn't believe my eyes and thought this was a sign so i signed up for it specially that it was risk free, I traveled for 2 hours to attend the seminar so that was my investment to me, the first thing that i was surprised about that the place was very cheap looking, i been to simanars before free ones too and the place looked better than that also almost empty and robert wasn't there lol that was like a slap to me but i understood that he wouldn't show up for free so that's okay, the seminar was a mix between general informations and hard core up selling for the 3 days course, they said that it will cost $700 to sign you up now gor you and a guest, but will cost +$2000 on their website, i should've been alarmed at the time but for some reason i kept going and paid, to me the 700 dollars weren't a big investment so it was worth seeing what's up, so i traveled for 3 hours for the 3 days seminar, when i arrived they gave me a notebook with everything they will talk about in there, the fist page had the next level course with crazy numbers on there, and yes the 3 days seminar looked cheap too, i noticed a pattern in thier speakers, they all get emotional and cry and all they say is that they love to help people and the 3 days seminar reminded me of school bullying lol you wont be allowed to ask any questions or question any information they give, they also teach you hot to manipulate your credit scores so that sounded extremely shady, i literally asked him in his face in front of everybody if what he is teaching is legal, button line is today is the 3rd day i didn't show up after i researched on Google and found out that they been scamming people since 2008 PLEASE DON'T GO!!!!

They did give some informations here and there but i don't even trust that i wouldn't rely on these type of people to teach me how to succeed in life by the way you aren't allowed to take any pictures or videos but you can only take pictures of the notes and i attached one
