Waste of time and money

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

Total waste of time and money. It was a sales pitch for training that costs thousands of dollars.

They have no intention of teaching you anything about real estate or investing. They just want to manipulate you into buying additional training that is very expensive. The trainer was not really a trainer; he was a sleazy salesman who was unprofessional, uneducated, and rude. He swore repeatedly and used vulgar language.

A legitimate trainer running an investment seminar would not do that. I am shocked that Robert Kiyosaki allows his name and brand to be used by these sleazy scam artists.

I would think that he would revoke their licensing if he knew what they were actually doing and saying. Don't waste your time or money.

It is true! I experienced it too. How can we all get connect to get one big class action lawsuit against them?

Guest

I lost over$15,000 with them. I was a mentor.

In three days passed the refund date, I was told it will take two, three, or four months. I had a real estate deal in seven days and lost it. They do not care about the people. Rich Dad Poor Dad has stolen millions from students like the other real estate group.

Why is the government allowing this financial fraud to continue. I started with 700 Credit Score and now I am in big financial trouble trusting them.

I lost over $15,000 with Elite Legacy Education. I was promised a mentor.

After three business days, I was told no money can be refund. I was told it will take two, three, or four months for a mentor. I had a real estate deal in seven days and lost it.

Is this not state, and federal fraudulent behavior towards customers?

Why is the company collecting money for the real estate program, but keeps adding students and can the students? Actually, they tore up my mentor application and told me to re-submit it. Why? I did what you ask.

I had gotten the LLC, the map, folders, file cabinet, new computer and printer, webinars etc. But they were running state to state collecting money from new students and nelegecting current students. Why?

I need attorney for a class action lawsuits against them.

Federal Government, these people need to answer for their behavior like the Other Real Estate Group did. Are did you hate the Owner more? Its the reason their students got their money back. Stay from away this group.

They have treated students so bad. The Contact you signs benefits them only.

If you are a good attorney.

You can win a class action against them. Let's talk.

They are not honest and manipulating the people. It's a huge scam and they must be more transparent. I am planning to file a law suit to get my money back and a compensation for the waist of my time....

I signed up for the 3 day Elite Legacy training seminar. For $700 they tell you that you will be trained in different real estate strategies. When you go it’s 3 days of hard sales and them trying to pitch you into spending 15,000-50,000 to actually be trained in real estate strategies. I learned maybe 2 things at the 3 day seminar. All the rest was hard sales trying to get more money for actual training.

Rich Dad disappointment at Lagacy Financial Training

Legacy Education Alliance - Rich Dad disappointment at Lagacy Financial Training
Legacy Education Alliance - Rich Dad disappointment at Lagacy Financial Training - Image 2

I paid $495 and I was promised the 3 day training would be filled topics that covered whole selling, commercial, apartments, contract strategies, networking, etc. Because this program is carrying the RICH DAD company name I thought it would hold more value than other programs.

In summary, 3 days of about 9 hours of Real Estate instruction squeezed in between several sales pitches for Elite packages ranging from $17,000 up to $52,000. I believe the team has the experience but not the interest to deliver the material for a $500 ticket to attend the workshop. Honestly, I went to learn, and if I experienced valuable training, the fees to continue into advanced classes would be an easy sale. Here's an example- we were told to pack a lunch and bring a laptop to day 3 that would be jam packed with senior living, commercial, etc.

The senior living training turned out to be the speaker talking about having dinner with a new recruit about how they might be able to make a deal. We did not use a laptop, and we had a lunch break.

I think that the material could have been covered in one day of teaching without the constant sale pitches for Elite training. Disappointed with Legacy.

Legacy Education Real Estate Seminar by Laurie Waddel

If you're sitting in the Legacy Education Real Estate class taught by Laurie Waddel, googling reviews and wondering if you've been scammed... then it's too late for you. They have your money, all you can do is decide how you want to spend your weekend. If you are at the free seminar and considering pre-paying for the $399 for the ELITE REAL ESTATE seminar, I do not recommend it. I wouldn’t call it a total scam, but I wouldn’t defend it if someone claimed it was. After all, I did learn a few things; just not worth $400, time off work, and a weekend. My suggestion: Read on, and read other reviews on the internet before spending any money on this. If you’ve already spent the money…you might find it worthwhile to stay. It’s up to you. Day1: They handed out a spiral course book with sections for notes, but she wouldn't be teaching out of the book. By the beginning of day 2, I realized she didn't teach anything out of the book. I had zero notes in it. Laurie talking a lot about her background and how she ended up teaching you, here today. Has she mentioned yet how she's so rich she doesn't have to teach? That, she doing this to help others and that she simply loves to fly and teach? Give it time, she will. 5 minutes about fix/flip houses for minimum profit of $30,000, 25 minutes of personal information and non-relevant information. Remember: Be patient, show some faith. Above all…be coachable. Finally! We're talking (By we, I mean her and her staff. No questions allowed) about strategies. Earned income, passive, and portfolio strategies based on different situations, this is great! I hadn't thought of it that way....and now we're talking about personal stories again. Terrific. The most informative section was the last two hours of the first day. She talked about value of mobile homes parks and passive income: 200-300/month/lot and very low maintenance as compared to traditional single family rentals. She walked us through our monthly expenses and how many MH lots you’d need to own in order to pay those expenses, how much the 25% dwn pmt/closing costs for that park, and therefor how many fix/flip houses with 30k profit you’d need to do. No question and answer session today. Day 2: 9:00-YES! Class started right on time, that’s a sure sign of a well-run class. 9:30- “Let me tell you about my children. My son…” Or not. Tip: start a few lists and keep track of what she’s saying. First list: tally how many time she says mentor or mentoring. Second: Listen carefully to what she’s saying and write down when she promises what she’s going to teach you, what you’re going to learn about, what’s going to be covered/talked about this weekend, “by the end of the weekend you’re going to know”, or any type of promise. You’ll notice you have more promises than notes. Third: start a timeline. 9:35- Started slideshow on federal reserve. 9:45- Transitioned to talking about the richest guys in American history. 9:50- Son has bachelor’s degree, working on master’s degree. Not working because of his real estate investments, learned in this type of seminar. 10:00- Earned income is a good strategy for certain situations. 10:01- The weather conditions in Iowa. Trust me, you’ll have time for all this. Clear signs, looking back: 1. On day 1- "When we take our break, come talk to us...Don't just talk with others at your table, you want to work your way up. If you talk with people that are in same station in life as you, you'll be just like them." They don't want you comparing notes with others, while at the same time making you think you're better than the others. 2. "We only have 3 days, so I'm going to briefly explain each real estate investing strategy." That made sense, yet... why are you spending so much time talking about non-real estate information? Personal stories should tie into strategies, techniques, or at least personal development accomplishments. 3. "Hold your questions till the question and answer section, right before the break." This makes sense; some people will bombard the lecturer with too many questions or life stories. Yet, she never took time for questions. Any good teacher solicits questions, in order to make sure students can clarify the information. 4. Too much personal development 5. On day 2, hour 1- she notices we’re staring blankly at her or on our phones, bored out of our minds, and asks, “Did any of you put the ad in the paper?” We all look at her. “…did anyone put the ad out saying ‘Will buy real estate, cash or terms?...No one?...Nobody put an ad out….ok.” She said this with enough condescension to make some people feel bad, but not so much to alienate everyone all at once. Now, we don’t know what “terms” means, because we’re 9 hours into a real estate seminar and WE HAVEN’T TALKED ABOUT BUYING REAL ESTATE “CASH OR TERMS”. She followed with a head shake and “Sometimes you gotta take the initiative….here, let’s move one.” Well done, Laurie and Legacy Education, well done. Last thoughts, being coachable doesn’t mean being gullible. They already have your money and they don’t want you questioning them in front of the others so they’ll be glad if you leave. Don’t be rude and loud, you’ll be the bad guy. Be assertive and confident.

BE WARE OF THE SCAM

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I’m a registered nurse, and I take great joy being a nurse because I have an opportunity to help people and at the same time make some money to support my family. I am doing pretty good financially, but I feel like something is still missing. I haven’t reached my potential yet. I want to learn how to invest in real estate. I heard about Rich Dad education from some of my friends. Robert Kiyosaki inspired them after reading his books. I attended a free workshop with one of my friend and we both signed up to attend a 3 days workshop on basic real estate training through Legacy Education. I was under the impression that the training will give me step-by-step instructions in variety of topics similar to what covers in the home study kit. Legacy gave us real estate training workbook, but didn’t followed topics from this workbook. Laurie Waddell and Brandon Diaz spent so much time motivating and brainwashing students, gone over Elite Packages, and software applications the entire 3 days and only cover maybe 30 percent of the actual contents. It was almost like sitting in infomercial environment the entire 3 days. On day 3, Brandon Diaz gone as far as labeling people and call them “Coward” just because they haven’t make the decision to move forward with purchasing Elite Training Package. Approximately 80% of students didn’t show up to the training on day 3.

Most people were so disappointed. We felt that we were being robbed from getting proper education. I am very inspired by Robert Kiyosaki, and I’m looking to learn more about real estate investing. I took an initiative to become great and trying to reach my potential. I would have purchase Elite Training Coarse, but I didn’t trust them. I figure if I wasn’t satisfied with the basic training education, how can I trust purchase Elite Package cost anywhere from 20k to 60k. I would have invested in myself if they would deliver proper materials as promised. I paid about $500 for this basic training, but I felt as though I wasted the entire 3 days. I felt so bad for those individual who fell for the bait thinking they are going to be a billionaire after completing Elite Training. Be ware of the trap. DO NOT FALL FOR THE SCAM. LEARN IT FROM ME.

I don’t think it is a scam but a pure informecial session. I could hardly sit a full day so left on day 1 as it was not something I had hoped to spend time on.

90% of the day was spent on promoting their elite packages. The crew was well trained to share personal stories and when you ask deeper questions, it is clear that there is no substance. For example, they would say their business is doing extremely well but when you ask about the type of investments they made, it is very vague answer.

I would not recommend spending time on this session or the elite courses as I couldn’t trust the claims. No lunch offered and you will be starved intentionally till 2pm so, there is no choice but to stay.

I am a current Student of Elite Legacy and Know first hand that your wrong. I'm currently too busy running my business to go into a flame war with you on how could you expect, what you were implying to be a "Proper Education" for $500?

What you have learned is that you don't have what it takes to get out of a 5 figure income mindset. Legacy isn't for everyone, But it is no scam.

Just doing a bit of logic here, joining up the reviews (which clearly indicate that Elite Legacy is a total scam) with the fact you claim to be running a business but can't even spell 'your' and 'you're' correctly... 'What you have learned is that you don't have what it takes to get out of a 5 figure income mindset.' There is no way you can start echoing the mind washing tactics this so called education group uses when you can't even use basic English. I rest my case.

When I dared asking the question "why do you mislead people with your advertising?" I was forced to leave. Their excuse - I am making the other students negative and starting a mob.

One of the presenters even said "I am rich and I love going to court so will fight you in court". People please stay away.

Thank you for your comment. One of our top priorities is customer satisfaction and ensuring that each student receive a valuable return on their investment.

However, we are not always able to meet everybody's expectations. One of our core philosophies at Legacy Education, which is something that rings true with Robert's teachings is to never stop searching for information and self-knowledge. It is no secret that we charge what could be considered a premium for this knowledge. Our trainers are accomplished industry professionals who have not only found success through Robert's teachings but have also had great success relaying that knowledge to students at the Elite level, many of whom have gone to find their own success as a result of our seminars.

We hold our speakers and trainers to the highest of standards and we sincerely apologize if you were in any way insulted or offended by some of our trainers' style or demeanor. They are passionate in what they do and may sometimes come off as abrasive.

We are taking your feedback very seriously and will make sure it is delivered to all relevant parties. Regards.

After reading this review this guy hit the nail on the head! But here's the clincher, their Corp. Office is in FL., and they just went thru a hurricane. Now with no power, email server down you can't contact anyone. We could not get funded thru two of their sources on the 3rd day, and could not get funded 2 days later. My bad, our credit wasn't goos enough. Now, we must contact their Corp. Office to get the money back we put as a down pymt for the Specialist Package using the 3 day Right to Cancel. It's not that we did not want to move forward to the Advanced Education, we could not get funded. I tried not to look for negative reviews, but when I found went to search out other info on RDPD 3day Trng., they popped up including this one because Lauri Waddell was our instructor. Oh yea did I mention the pricing? From $16K base package for *(2) up to $45K ($52K) Master package for (2). More to come as I can think of it and get back with you.

Legacy Education scam

I went to the seminar, paid $500.00. We were told when we go to the 3 day course we would get the software that shows foreclosures to narrow down the market.

Jason the lead presenter laughed when I asked if we were going to get the software, he said, "do you think you are going to get this for $500.00?" You have to buy one of the mentor packages in order to get the software. The software ranges from $12,500 to $39,000, that's how they make their money. They ask you to fill out a form to see how much money you can come up with and set you up to speak to a "financial counselor". You think you are doing it so you can buy some real estate, but they want you to buy their mentor packages.

They say, you can't go out and do this unless you have a mentor walk you through it.

I don't believe they made any money selling homes, if they did, why are they teaching this class! Big rip off!!!

Legacy Stock Investing

The experience was great and the value is unlimited. I honesty networked with individuals and people that shared a similar vision I went to the free workshop and quickly signed up to the 3 day workshop for 571$. Best decision ive made and ik its value is unlimited. Ive been educating myself and learning from others for some time. So i did have some knowledge about investing and with stock investing for the long term. However i did not know much about options. When Matt Justice an excellent instructor and human being. Began to explain at first i was skeptical and scruntized it however by day 3 it made sense with the knowledge i had learned prior and i knew i wanted to do it and that it could work. So i signed up. I see negative reviews and i dont know everyones back story but what i do know is. Whatever you do whether it be real estate or stock investing etc you will need help and a mentor. But most importantly you need application and commitment. Going to one workshop will not make you successful. Even attending multiple ones dont. You need to learn invest commit and repeat. What you do with your time will determine this. Are you watching tv all say complaing about a 3 day workshop that didnt make you rich or are you reading books and learning from others to know how its application will make you rich and free.

Legacy Education 3 Day Seminar Buyer Beware

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I signed up for a 3 day real estate seminar that cost $500. I came in with an open mind ready to learn but the whole thing was a sales pitch for their four course elite package program costing $12,500 with a retail value of $22,500. I felt as though they were withholding information from me which was dishonest because I paid $500 which was a discount from $1,000. I feel as though this was a scam and if there was a money back guarantee I would have asked for my money back. To add insult to injury the elite sales courses are sold for 1,600 online for the on demand course which means if you bought four of them it would only have a cost of $6400 as opposed to the $22,500 they market it for. This is not to say the material isent good or that it doesn't work but they were dishonest. Buyer Beware!

Good day. We do mention in our marketing materials that additional products are sold at our training.

We understand that it can be difficult for some students to comprehend the logic behind the way we structure our classes. The degree of education that is shared at our Elite level is extensive and a substantial amount of resources are poured into those programs to ensure students are successful in their journey to financial freedom.

We offer various levels of education based on each person's objectives. Best of luck.

Signed up with them. Did a three day cancel as requested. Waited. Legacysaid we had to return materials that we received. Legacy emailed the FedEx Label. FedEx could not deliver. The business was closed and would not reopen the 3rd of the January. FedEx Had to return the package to the sender....them, as they listed themselves on the label as the shipper. Legacy Said some product was missing. No product refund. After much back and forth. Legacy filed a claim with FedEx )or so they said). FedEx said no insurance, and no refund. FedEx rep told me could only get up to $100. So which is it? There is more but the bottom line is that Legacy representative said that they would still not refund anything, nothing, ....not for any of it. So, now we spent $ and have nothing!!!??? stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

Here I can tell my experience last week in NYC. This is a not a course for learning real estate business but a scam!

They first tell you to come to a three hour seminar to teach you how to be rich(!!) for free! Actually this is not a seminar to teach you anything but just to blame you and push hard to register for their next three days seminar for $527! Can you believe that? Then you started blaming yourself and would possible register for next three days!

Do you know what happens to the next three days, another circus, no teaching but just a large way to make yourself believe that you are an *** and then push you real hard to buy next seminar and software for $20,000-$30,000. If you donot have money they will ask you to open credit card for taking this course!

I believe this is a total scam! Because they gave me a phone number but when I called them they said to send email.

I sent them email but they replied after one week stating that refund is only possible if you claim within 3 days of purchase. Here is the scam, there courses are available after at least after three days of the registration. Secondly, I complained because I was totally not satisfied but they did not consider the fact.

They are stick to 3 days policy. Therefore, this done by purpose and it is a big scam!

Legacy Education Alliance - Seminar Review

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Went to one of there free seminars which we quickly realised was 90 % sales pitch and a waste of time. I just think its disgusting how they take advantage of vulnerable people by promising exagerayed riches for the small fee of £997. I went to the free evening in Brighton on thursday night, I noticed that most people were wise to her tricks but im sure i still noticed a couple actually signing up for the training weekend. The woman who lead the evening had clearly been around the sales block and we noticed her asking questions to size up the room and work out who would be more likely to buy her bull ***. I think she new we were on to her pretty quickly because she wouldnt make eye contact for the second half of the evening. Over all this company shouldn't be allowed to trade and if your thinking of going to one of there courses please read a few more reviews before you make that mistake.

Leicester course. 17-19Sept 2017

10/10 for this course Course was full of much useful info and tips...to take one forward to ones next chosen steps Professionally and inspirationally delivered, with very knowledgeable lead deliverer and supporting team and speakers. The key deliverer was very engaging, energising, and delivered the 3 full on days with humour, humility and an incredible number of resources of a high quality. The supporting team and speakers were also inspirational. All the presenters were very human, empathetic and supportive. Yes there was a hard sell of the next training options that Legacy offered, but the pressure or desire to purchase would have been intrinsically driven and the choice of what to do was always the students choice. Thank you very much to the team. The money spent on the course for me was very worthwhile and my journey to financial freedom is right at the beginning now...despite the fact that I thought I was on the journey I had originally chosen.

I have read the reviews of the Legacy three day training program. I too am cancelling the course as it very much appears to be a scam for on selling and possible coercion?

How are you possibly writing a review for a course that hasn't happened yet?? Looks like damage control.

SCAM Legacy Education Alliance - RICH DAD Training, Real Estate.

The whole training 80% is a sale pitch of their seminars, they even go farther and get private information from you, because you end up giving them how much money you make at your job, creditcards balance, house investments, they just want to know how you are going to pay for the training, if you really believe that these people are helping you, go ahead, and sign for 40,000 debt on top of what you have, they try everything... to get you.

This is very expensive and really not worth it., what college charge you 40K for 30 days? and you get no license for anything... at least a college will give you a certification in several things that will get you jobs and positions at work. It is sad that people really fall on this, do not give them anything that is private, do not sign for any credit card, do not look at your 401k and cash it, Please, just ask though questions, they always talk about what is great, never about things that went wrong, people who are one of the best paid peoples on this planet?

ACTORS? this is what Lauri Waddell and their pack of Wolfs that belong to Legacy Education are.

Thank you for your comment. We understand we're not always able to meet every person's expectations of what the classes should or should not be.

We go by what has proven to be successful for the majority of our students.

Totally Agreed,

They ask for too many personal questions when they are there to teach you how to make money, how so??

Give your money to a charity instead of this people. Please dont waist your money if you dont need to.
